If you’re a non-citizen and you have been convicted of a crime, it can cause a lot of problems.  It can land you in immigration court facing removal proceedings, prevent you from naturalizing or being able to obtain a green card.  Sometimes you didn’t understand what you were getting yourself into when you “took a deal.”    Seemingly small offenses can be very serious in immigration court, causing you to be ineligible for bail or preventing you from applying for relief you would otherwise be eligible for.

If you didn’t understand what was happening in criminal court, you can file a motion to get rid of your problematic conviction.   I’m experienced in the area and would be happy to talk to you about your options.
